The origins

It all started with Monsieur Xu (or JP to his friends), on a trip to Xi'an where he discovered this famous noodle dish "Biang Biang 面" it was love at first sight.

Back in Paris, JP realized that there were no restaurants serving this type of noodle. Rather than leave it at that, he decided to share his love of these noodles with everyone.

That's how Nouilles Ceintures was born! Opened in 2018 in the Faubourg Poissonnière district, this is a restaurant where a passion for good food and shared moments is at the heart of everything we do. Every dish tells a story, every plate is prepared with care, and every customer is welcomed like a friend.

Xi'an: A city located in central China

Xi'an, formerly known as "Chang'an", is a major historical and cultural city in China, renowned for its treasures such as the terracotta warriors of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the majestic Great Wild Goose Pagoda. It is one of China's four great ancient capitals, having been the capital of thirteen successive dynasties. The city is rich in history and culture, with sites such as the Xi'an City Walls and the Muslim Quarter.

Wide noodles, also known as "belt noodles", are an emblematic Xi'an specialty. Their name derives from their long, wide shape, reminiscent of belts or ribbons. This culinary tradition has a long history and is deeply rooted in local gastronomic preferences. The people of Xi'an and surrounding areas have enjoyed these thick, tasty noodles for centuries, and they have become a veritable icon of Chinese cuisine.

Since our opening in 2018, the story of Nouilles Ceintures has continued to unfold, welcoming food lovers and enthusiasts from all over the world. But our journey is just beginning!

In 2024, we've decided to add a new chapter to our adventure by opening two new establishments. The first will be located in the dynamic Grand Boulevard district, while the second will open in the charming 17th arrondissement.

Our aim? To spread our love of noodles throughout the world. Because for us, cooking is about more than just food. It's about sharing, conviviality and discovery.
